Convent Light Street alumni and Co-Founders of the ACE EdVenture Anne Tham and Melinda Lim return to their former school as edu-preneurs with a mission to transform the education landscape by bringing education for the future to Penang. An education system that focuses on the human component, students’ mental health and social emotional wellbeing with strong emphasis on social consciousness will be brought to Penang. Our students will also be nurtured to build sustainable social enterprises. “We want to introduce our education ecosystem to Penangites and emphasise that academics can be taught in a way where students work hard, enjoy themselves, but get invested in learning and still do well. At the same time, we develop students’ creativity, empathy, collaborative skills, confidence, resilience and grit,” said Anne Tham.
